Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

At The Arizona Team, we strongly believe that our employees are the most important aspect of our business. While growing and consistently gaining personal development are imperative. We also think it is important to focus on improvement outside the office walls. Relationships with co-workers, competitions, travel and philanthropic endeavors allow our employees to have fun while progressing personally and professionally. The past couple of months we have involved ourselves in many activities and are excited to culminate the summer with a bang.

June was a great month at The Arizona Team as we launched two huge competitions with phenomenal prizes. With horse racing in the air, we decided to jump into the theme ourselves. The Arizona Team Account Executives were allowed to jockey their own horses for a chance to win a trip to the east coast. The winners and their horses were crowned by the end of the week.

After the Triple Crown holders were awarded, we announced our second competition of the summer. At The Arizona Team, our team works very hard to hit their goals and we believe in recognizing these efforts as much as possible. Account Executives at The Arizona Team were given an opportunity to shine on our “Wall of Fame” by setting records for our clients. Our records are constantly being set and broken by our talented and hardworking team members.

We started off July by unveiling The Arizona Team’s very own slow pitch softball team! Not only are these athletes able to build great relationships with each other outside the office, but they are given a chance to work on their tan and softball skills! While softball might not be their strongest talent, they have fun and look good doing it.

Being active and participating in activities to promote health and wellness is a key factor in an employee’s productivity. Our team members can often be found playing basketball, hiking, and working out together. The Arizona Team's Human Resources Administrator took this to a new level just a few short weeks ago when she competed in the NPC AZ Open fitness competition! She trained for months and showed an immense amount of discipline when it came to her diet. When it came time for the show, she sure was ready and we, at The Arizona Team, sure were proud of her.

At the end of July, we were fortunate to have the opportunity to travel and listen to amazing speakers. The Arizona Team’s top Account Executives were given a chance to travel to the east coast to participate in client meetings, awards, and of course, fun! We were given the privilege to listen to two ASU alumnus speak about success, struggles and how they were able to accomplish what they had both personally and professionally. We sure are spoiled at The Arizona Team!

At the Arizona Team, we closed out July with a fun Facebook competition where pictures of our Account Executives as children were posted. The baby picture given the most love and physical “likes,” was the winner and awarded a special opportunity with our management team.

August will bring a plethora of fun, philanthropy and travel to help challenge the growth of our employees at The Arizona Team. A trip to San Francisco for our top performers and a charity basketball tournament for an international foundation are just a few things that we have in the works.
Sprinkled around our larger events, traveling and competitions, our Arizona Team employees can often be found hanging out for a happy hour, a breakfast and anything in between. These hang outs can take place catching “Ted” on the big screen, doing some goldfish racing for happy hour, or running a couple quick games on pick-up basketball.

With the summer coming to an end, we like to look back and reflect the fun we have had at The Arizona Team. We’ve competed, we’ve grown personally and professionally, we have memories that cannot be replaced, and we’ve become a closer team. The fall brings us an opportunity only to accentuate this.
